Our holiday homes
Ahead of your arrival, we will send you comprehensive driving and publicc transport directions. If you are staying in our city centre homes - Atholl Place or Cumberland Street - then you may not need a car during your stay as all amenities are very close by. However, we do recommend that you have your own transport if you have booked any of our rural apartments as public transport in these areas is not very regular and several of the local bus services are infrequent or not direct.
For all of our homes, we are happy to advertise on travel options and can make recommendations for getting there and around.
Atholl Place is located in the centre of Perth. It is on the North Inch, just a few hundred yards from the River Tay and about a 3 minute walk to the high street shops and restaurants.
The nearest international airport is Edinburgh (about 40 minutes' drive). Glasgow airport is only about an hour away. Dundee also has a small airport serving London. The nearest railway station is Perth - a 15 minute walk or just a short taxi ride away where there are regular services to Edinburgh, Glasgow, Aberdeen, Dundee and Inverness.
Public transport is Perth is good with a regular bus service operating around the city and to the nearby towns. There is a good choice of car hire agencies at the airports and in Perth itself.
The Monastery Tower is part of the Highland Club, a conversion of a 19th Century monastery on the shores of Loch Ness. The monastery is located in the town of Fort Augustus which can be reached on the A82. If you are coming from Fort William, the Highland Club is on your right just before you enter the town. If you are driving from Inverness, it is on your left just after you cross the swing bridge.
The nearest airport is Inverness (about 50 minutes' drive). Glasgow, Edinburgh and Aberdeen airports have a wider choice of flights and are two and a half to three hours' away.
The railway station of Inverness is 45 minutes' drive away. Public transport outside of the main towns is very limited and so we recommend that guests have access to a car during their stay.
Easter Bendochy House
The house is located in the hamlet of Bendochy which is about a mile north of Coupar Angus and four miles sourth of Blairgowrie. The easiest way to reach it is to travel up the A923 and turn right towards Bendochy just after you cross the River Isla.
The nearest airport is Dundee (25 minutes' drive) - however, Edinburgh (one hour) offers a much greater range of flights. Glasgow and Aberdeen airports are also well served and are one and a half hours' away. The railway stations of Dundee and Perth are both 25 minutes' drive away.
Public transport outside of the main towns is very limited and so we recommend that guests have access to a car during their stay.
Lawers Mill is located just off the A827 which is the road that runs along the north side of Loch Tay. If using satnav, the postcode will most likely take you to the Ben Lawers Hotel which is around 500m west of the Mill.
The nearest train stations are Dunkeld and Pitlochry and the nearest town of size is Aberfeldy (although Kenmore does have a couple of shops for supplies). Perth and Stirling are each about an hour's drive away.
Public transport is limited to an hourly bus service which stops near the hotel. Taxis can be called from nearby towns but bear in mind you are about 20 minutes away from them.
